- What is the appropriate price (from the agent’s point of view) at which the coupons are to be purchased and at what price they should be sold?
- What is the price (from the shareholder’s point of view) at which the coupons can be sold or dispensed with?
- What is the optimal price at which a coupon can be purchased (from the actual consumer’s point of view)?
- From the overall system point of view, the coupon benefits are shared by three actors. However, the cost to BFL for the entire transaction remains the same. Is this a desirable practice? The monetary benefit meant exclusively for shareholders is now being shared by others (who are not shareholders). Is this appropriate?
- Should the issue of discount coupons to the shareholders be discontinued? If they are to be continued, what should be the additional systemic safeguards to be implemented to ensure that the benefit reaches the target audience?

Product review of Madhur sugars
Product Review: Madhur Sugars
Understand Sugar:
Sugar have two variants . The first one is white and second one is raw processed very high polarized(VHP) sugar.About Madhur sugars;
Madhur Sugars launched in 2007 by Sri Renuka Sugars Belgaum.Product Opinion:
Sugar was marketed as the commodity for many years. However, the Murugappa groups Parry industries began the effort of branding the sugar. After the Parry industries effort , Belgaum based Sri Renuka Sugars is on the way to brand their sugar in the market.
The company launched their product ' Madhur' in the market.It has the attractive package.Further, the company claims it as the non- sulphar product.
According to me the product is priced very high compare to the local market brands and loose sugar sold by unorganized retailers and modern retailers linke D-Mart.
Taste is good. conversely, the company has made less effort in educating customers to migrate from commodity to the brand.
The company also have not highlighted the brand on their website properly. I also observed that in a few retail store the product was not available.
Another strange thing I have seen that when you order Madhur from Bengaluru the product not dispatched from Belgaum instead it shipped from New Delhi. This is making customer to buy old stock of Madhur Sugars,
